I was incredibly privileged to be hand-picked by Sally Phung as her photographer to capture these precious moments of her and Ryan. We decided to go with a brunch session since meeting up for brunch and coffee was always their thing to do! We decided to go to Abricott since sally loved the ambiance and feel of the restaurant. Luckily for us it was not too busy when we went there for our engagement session.

After 8 years in the making, Sally and Ryan fell in young love with each other within the dorms of UCLA collegiate life and shared their first date over "The Da Vinci Code" movie....and luckily for us we were able to find the actual book in the book shelves!

We ended up finishing brunch and having a fantastic time together, and headed over to Pie Hole for dessert.

Their warmth, laughter, love and joy of each other was so prevalent during my shoot with them which only left a huge smile on my face to want to spend more time in capturing their special relationship. Sally and Ryan, it was such a pleasure to work with you and all the more fun in walking through LA to witness your guys' individual personalities and romance. All the very best to you two! Thank you so much for having me a part of your special day!

My first thought when Alex & Connie mentioned that they wanted a beach session was GREAT! It's Southern California, the sun is always out, and the wind is always calm...boy was I wrong. On the weekend we chose to go, when we arrived at Manhattan Beach, the sun was out, but the weather definitely was not on our side. It was surprisingly windy which made the session a bit more difficult than it needed to since the wind was flapping Connie's hair everywhere! Luckily Connie and Alex were such great sport, and pulled through it regardless. They're incredibly fun to work with, and very easy going. A couple of my favorites!

Besides the little windy setback, you really can't go wrong with shooting in Southern California. The sunset was absolutely incredible!

Connie is apparently a very active person, who is a fanatic marathon participant. Alex, apparently is the total opposite. Getting to know these two lovely people, I knew I had to try to capture a shot to represent that contrast!

I have always wanted to have a session out at Las Virgenes Open Space Reserve out in the Valley. The massive park reserve is absolutely stunning and gorgeous. When I was approached by Nathaniel and Linda to be their photographer, I knew I finally had the opportunity to go out there and check it out. It was a bit of a drive, but Nathaniel & Linda are just absolutely easy to talk to and work with. When we arrived at the reserve, it was about 1 hour till sunset, so we had to move fast as this was the best time frame for the best light!
A couple of beautiful shots after we walked right in!

I saw a hill with a nice vantage point, so we did a bit of a hike to the top. I can't say it was easiest, but luckily Linda was wearing boots and not heels! I'm so glad that we took the effort to get the top. The scenery up top was absolutely gorgeous and stunning.

It was an absolute joy to work with Linda and Nathaniel, and the scenery could not be anymore prime. We ended the day with a beautiful sunset.

I've known Aurora for quite sometime, and we have a pretty close knit friendship, so when she asked me to photograph her engagement session, I knew absolutely that I had to do it. We had a lot of fun exploring Pasadena City Hall. It was always a favorite of the architecture of this place, and capturing it with a beautiful couple was definitely worthwhile. I really felt that sometimes when two people are obviously in love like Aurora and Victor, it becomes almost easy to capture the chemistry and emotions between these two people. Here are a couple of my favorites from the weekend! Looking forward to the wedding!
